I am a translator, subtitler and ghostwriter in English and Italian. I specialize in literary and creative fields such as art, literature and cinema, but also in travel&tourism, sport and journalism. I also translate from the Scandinavian languages.

About me
The nature of my degree provided me with the appropriate qualifications to become a professional translator and proofreader. For all my courses, fluency in written and spoken English was essential, as well as the ability to write well in the target language. It also involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and communication skills.
Additionally, during my years at Florence University I have developed a keen interest in Japan culture, which includes cinema, literature and theatre. My BA final thesis was concerned with Shakespearean theatre in Akira Kurosawa’s films Throne of Blood, Ran and The Bad Sleep Well. I had the possibility to study the Noh theatre and the history of modern Japan. More importantly, this was an opportunity to broaden my horizons and to acquire a multicultural prospective in my work.
